Projects:
I am continuing the search for remnants of the Moon's ancient crust that constituted the bulk of my dissertation work. I use a combination of ground-based near-infrared reflection spectra and spacecraft (mostly Clementine) remote sensing data to search for exposures of anorthosite, which probably formed the Moon's original crust as the magma ocean that likely covered the Moon soon after its formation cooled and crystallized. As data from the Lunar Prospector spacecraft are reduced and made available, I will incorporate these into my research as well.
