Afternoon missions:
      take home assignments to be completed and returned....those who complete all afternoon missions will receive something special at the end of the week.
Mars Rover
      build a prototype of a Mars rover, learn about electrical circuits
Earth-Mars ABCs
      how is Mars different and similar to Earth....air pressure, gravity, atmospheric gases, ultraviolet radiation
What is Science?
      what is the science inquiry process....make a hypothesis, conduct surface tension and density experiments, collect data, analyze your data
Mars Solar Rover
      add a solar panel to your Mars rover and challenge your rover over the Mars course
Mars Topography
      what are the major features of the Martian surface...use special 3D glasses and make a 3D art piece
Rocket Science
      build a model rocket and learn about Newton's Laws of Motion
Mars Geology
      use a mineral classification key and determine how each identified mineral can be used
Exobiology
      what are the characteristics of life...is there life on Mars?
Liftoff to Mars
      apply Newton's Laws of Motion as you launch your model rocket to Mars
Gemini STARLAB
      learn about the night skies over Hawai'i and the world class telescopes on Mauna through this special planetarium program presented by the Gemini Observatory
Rendezvous/Orbit
      mathematics is the language of science....use your new Safe-T compass and learn about the diameters of Mars and Earth and other objects
Resource Analysis
      what is the weather on Mars like? search for water using a special energy ball
Design Brief
      teamwork and problem solving will assure success where failure is not an option
To be an Astronaut
      learn about how astronauts are selected and trained...you too can become an astronaut
Martian Science
      enjoy the humor and science demonstrations at their best
