1) QuickTime VR only runs on Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet Explorer. For best results and least aggrivation, obtain the version 3.0 or later of either browser. QuickTime VR will NOT run on Netscape Communicator.

2) Download QTEASY16.EXE. When the file has downloaded, locate it and double click on it. This will inflate the files QTINSTAL.EXE, NPQTW16.DLL and QTVRW.QTC and place them in the directory you downloaded QTEASY16.EXE into (you may need to refresh the window to see the new files).

3) Run QTEASY16.EXE to install QuickTime for Windows on your computer. If you have older versions of QuickTime files, the installer will ask if you want to delete them. Respond "yes" to any such queries.

4) Move the file QTVRW.QTC int the WINDOWS directory of your primary drive.

5) Move NPQTW16.DLL into the "Plugins" directory in your browser folder. If you are running a beta version of Internet Explorer 3.0, you will need to create a folder called "Plugins" in the same directory as Internet Explorer 3.0.

6) Re-start your browser. Once your browser restarts you will be all set to view QTVR. Once you are sure that QTVR is playing properly in your browser, you can Trash the "QTEASY16.EXE" files. You do not need it once QuickTime is successfully installed.
