Quicktime VR (Virtual Reality) Instructions:
- To move around the VR picture, move your mouse over the picture and click and hold the mouse button down.
- drag the mouse in the direction you want to see the picture, and the animation will move in that direction.
Quicktime VR Test:
Tour the surfaces of the Moon and Mars with our QuickTime VR. These
movies are not artist's renditions.
They are made from actual images gathered by NASA's manned and unmanned
missions.
NOTE:The images used in
some of these QTVR's are over 20 years old and were therefore not
obtained with Quicktime VR in mind. Every effort has been taken to
present the best possible QTVR quality while maintaining image accuracy.

Program, the Viking Lander QuickTime VR has been incorporated into an
educational multimedia CD-ROM, Mars Mission Design v 1.0. With MMD, the
user designs their own realistic
robotic mission to Mars. Mars
Mission Design v 1.0 is available commercially through VolcanoWorks.
